We are still searching for a caregiver for Augusta to no avail. This is almost 2 years now, without anyone to continue from where my aunt, who took care of her for 2 years, stopped.
Months back, it was very tough, because, her knees got swollen, making her unable to even stand, walk, bath, cook, or do anything for herself, leading to serious weight loss, more rigidity to her joints, etc.
Remember my salonist offered to step in, but, withdrew after 3 days for personal family issues.
So…….
. Its been an easy journey…
God himself took over the wheels, when no human would step in. Gradually gradually, Augusta could get up back on her feet and start doing little little things for herself again. My aunt who lives around her, still helps with shopping from the local market but we still need someone to help with the hot water body massage and oiling…..
By the grace of God, this is the 4th year I adopted my beautiful daughter.
She’s been 4 years in Abuja and am grateful to God, the almost dead being, who came in here, is alive today and getting better..
Aside all the bleeding sores on her body which healed, even from year one, her menses which ceased for 3 years before I took up her case in 2022, returned ( same year 2022 ), she started standing, walking, bending, bathing, cooking, washing clothes, sweeping herself, all within her 4 years here, and finally, we have been able to start achieving our greatest desire ‘ridding the vitiligo on her skin’ I.e, getting the skin patches to homogenise. Her skin complexion is fast returning to its original.
So, if we are able to finish homogenization of her skin, restore fats to fill her up, hence, lubricate her rigid joints, i think, we should be done. Augusta would return to her beautiful self…..
It would happen……
I told her, I am waiting for her perfection ” you are going to the university “. Satan cant waste you…
