” For a depressed patient who suddenly got stroked, what would you say, caused his stroke?“
Its only natural to be depressed when faced with sad realities of life; loss of loved ones, loss of money, loss of source of livelihood, betrayal, disappointment, etc.
I have always told us ” the wrong lifestyles are the sources of every ailment we suffer, today ” not hbp, chromosomes, heredity, genes and all what not.
The wrong emotions are one of these wrong lifestyles; depression, sadness, worry, anxiety, anger, fear, etc.
Being depressed isn’t a crime or unusual, until it takes over your entire being and begins interfering with the normal functioning of your body.
Its only natural to be depressed, but it becomes wrong, when you allow it linger.
As a depressed person, your blood vessels are automatically contracted, causing the flow of blood through them, to be with much force.
Just like trying to pass water through a congested or twisted hose, into a bucket.
No water would ever reach that bucket, except there is much force, applied.
So, as long as you won’t overcome depression, forgo that lifestyle, your blood vessels remain contracted and in a bid to get blood to your heart, the body would need to enact more pressure/force.
We can see, the body is only doing it’s job of enacting more pressure to pump blood to your heart, when depressed?
This more pressure, is what western medicine refer to as ‘hbp’.
And this is why, I have always tried to correct the wrong orientation on ‘ hbp ‘ and made us understand, it’s only natural. If you are depressed and blood vessels are contracted, what do you expect the body to do, if your heart must receive blood, for you to be alive?
It must increase the pressure at which it pumps, so blood can pass through the narrow vessels.
If you won’t overcome depression, day by day, your blood vessels would keep getting more contracted. The more contracted, the lesser blood can reach your heart, the more pressure enacted, because the body keeps trying to make sure the heart, receives blood.
As contraction of blood vessels increase, space for blood to pass, gets narrower, the body keeps increasing the pressure of pumping……
A time would come, the blood vessels completely close up!
No space for blood to pass again
The body would multiply it’s force, trying to see how blood can pass through the blood vessels to save you……
This is why at the point of stroke, your blood pressure would be highest.
This is the natural thing and how it should be.
It has never been about hbp; but you and your emotions ( inability to control your emotions ).
Infact, the high blood pressure all along, is why you are still alive.
If your body didn’t increase the pressure of pumping your blood to your heart, when it contracted always, you would be dead from day 1.
God blesss Africa!
