Is it lucrative, oh yes!
Yet, some don't thrive as lawyers, why?
Smiles.......you would never do well, if law doesn't align with your inner being ( innate abilities );
1. If you arent a logical thinker
2. If you dont have the ability to convince
3. If you are not a good communicator
4. If you are not emotionally intelligent
5. If you are not an analytical reasoner
6. If you are not Creative
7. If you are not a studier
8. If you don't pay attention to details
9. If you arent a good negotiator
10. If you are not a natural problem solver, etc
All through your life time, you might never win, even a case.
So, if you choose to go through the western Educational setting to aid your growth, choose a course that aligns with your innate abilities, not because it's popular, lucrative, fashionable, reputable.
If you are natural with languages, it doesn't take you time to understand and communicate in any language, consider enhancing that innate ability through the course study 'linguistics'.
'Linguistics' might not be popular, but you would thrive in it and even make a name for yourself.
